Founded in Paris in 2018, Ormaie is a family-run French haute perfumery house, established by Baptiste Bouygues — with a background in fashion communication — and his mother Marie-Lise Jonak, a fragrance creator with a long career behind her. The name itself reveals the brand's philosophy: ormaie in French refers to a grove of elms, evoking an imagery rooted in nature and memory. The choice to work exclusively with natural raw materials, without synthetic ingredients, is not a stylistic compromise but the starting point of every creation: the fragrances are born from essential oils and selected botanical extracts, developed in collaboration with perfumers Serge de Oliveira and Vincent Ricord. Completing the brand's visual identity, the bottles made from recycled glass — produced by the French glassworks Saverglass — are topped with sculptural caps made from reclaimed wood, hand-carved and designed as true design objects.
