Oribe is an American haircare brand founded in 2008 by Cuban-American hairstylist Oribe Canales — a central figure in the fashion and international editorial scene of the 1980s and 1990s — along with Daniel Kaner and Tev Finger. The idea behind the project was to bring to the consumer and professional market the same aesthetic vision that Canales had refined backstage at fashion shows and in campaigns for major names in photography and fashion.
