Rich in bixin in synergy with selenium, Urucum is an antioxidant naturale which contributes to the maintenance of the skin. Bixin is similar to beta-carotene: urucus contains 100 times more bixin than carrot beta-carotene. The Indians were covered in una Red powder to protect against the sun and mosquitoes!
