TePe is a Swedish family-owned company founded in 1965 in Malmö, stemming from an idea by Henning Eklund, a woodcarver, who developed — in collaboration with professors from the local Dental School — a triangular-section toothpick designed to fit the natural shape of interdental spaces. From that first product, a brand has emerged that is now present in over 80 countries, with production and headquarters remaining in Malmö from generation to generation.
