Mepal is a Dutch brand based in Lochem, Netherlands, active since the 1950s in the production of items for the storage and transport of food and beverages. Its visual and design identity is inspired by the Bauhaus tradition: essential shapes, rigorous functionality, and a sober aesthetic sense that has made the brand's products recognizable and long-lasting over time. In 1993, Mepal joined the Danish brand Rosti, creating Rosti Mepal; in 2018, the two brands became independent again, and Mepal continued its journey as an autonomous lifestyle brand, with a strong focus on international e-commerce and sustainability. Each item is designed and produced in-house, from the design phase to manufacturing, using materials declared free of BPA and compatible with dishwashers, microwaves, and freezers.
