Lindor is the most recognizable line of pralines from the Swiss house Lindt & Sprüngli, founded in Zurich in 1845. The recipe was created in 1949, when the Maîtres Chocolatiers Lindt developed a chocolate with such a smooth and fluid consistency that it evoked, according to their own description, liquid gold: hence the name, a fusion of Lindt and the French word or (gold). Initially presented as a bar, the formula was associated with the iconic spherical praline about twenty years later, giving rise to a product that today boasts over twenty flavor variants distributed in more than one hundred countries. A distinctive visual element is the lace pattern introduced in 1962, inspired by the traditional lace of St. Gallen, which still accompanies every package today.
The eight Lindor references available in the catalog represent a cross-section of the range: from pralines in the classic red milk chocolate wrapping to dark and white variants, as well as individual-sized snacks. Those looking for a quality gift or a personal indulgence will find options suitable for different preferences, from the more delicate milk chocolate to versions with higher cocoa percentages. We suggest reading the labels carefully for information on ingredients, allergens, and nutritional values, keeping in mind that chocolate is a food to be included in a varied and balanced diet.
