Composition 80% POLYAMIDE 20% ELASTANE
Elastic stockings up to the groin (AG) with silicone hold-up ruffle with 15/18 mmHg compression for the prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) for subjects with a body mass index (BMI) greater than or equal to to 30. The reinforced silicone frill is anti-rolling, allowing an excellent fit even on particularly bulky limbs and with relaxed fabrics. Indicated in case of surgical interventions, in case of childbirth, long-term bed rest, neurological, polytraumatized patients. Elastic compression reduces venous volume and determines, for the same venous flow rate, an increase in flow speed, reducing stasis, an essential factor in deep vein thrombosis (DVT). The special three-dimensional knitted fabric makes them soft and comfortable, easy to wear. They are made of bacteriostatic yarn which, thanks to the presence of silver ions, hinders bacterial proliferation, ensuring the maintenance of the biological balance of the skin. These socks retain their characteristics when washed at up to 80°.
Contraindications: Obstructive arterial disease, Severe neuropathy, Extrinsic compression on venous vessels, Uncompensated heart failure, Rheumatic fibromyalgia.
