Kvitok is a Slovak brand of handmade natural cosmetics, born in the Humenné district of eastern Slovakia, from an idea by Martina Dudová, a graduate in medical and chemical disciplines. The brand was previously known as Navia: the name Kvitok comes from the dialectal term in eastern Slovakia for flower, reflecting both the geographical origins and the botanical soul of the formulations. The philosophy behind the brand is to minimize synthetic molecules in favor of high-concentration plant ingredients, without artificial colors, synthetic fragrances, or unnecessary preservatives. All products are handcrafted in the same district of origin, cruelty-free, and free from animal testing; animal-derived raw materials, when present, are limited to traditional ingredients such as goat milk or beeswax. The packaging, recognizable for its delicate botanical illustrations, is made from recycled materials, and some references allow for the return of glass bottles.
