ION8 is a British brand specializing in reusable water bottles, founded in 2016 in Dundee, Scotland, by Yusuf Okhai, heir to a local manufacturing family tradition. The brand was created with the stated goal of correcting common design flaws in water bottles available at the time, focusing on three core principles: leak-proof airtight closure, one-touch opening, and BPA-free materials. From a single product available in three colors, ION8 has grown to distribute its items in over 60 countries. Its excellence in international trade has been recognized with the Queen's Award for Enterprise (2021) and the King's Award for Enterprise, as well as numerous design awards including the Red Dot Design Award (2016, 2025) and the iF Design Award (2017).
