Indications: sensation of moderate and severe dry eyes. Properties and Mode of Action: VISMED contains sodium hyaluronate, a natural polymer also present in the ocular structures of the human body. The particular physical characteristics of sodium hyaluronate allow it to bind to a large number of water molecules. These physical characteristics give a VISMED a unique viscoelasticity. VISMED thus ensures the formation of a uniform film on the surface of the eye which resists the natural process of elimination by blinking. VISMED therefore guarantees maximum and prolonged comfort. VISMED It does not contain preservatives and is very well tolerated. 1 ml of solution contains 1.8 mg of sodium hyaluronate and in the form of chloride, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, as well as disodium hydrogen phosphate, sodium citrate and water for injections. The solution is hypotonic.
