Levamed Active is an ankle brace with a stabilizing strap system. The product must be adjusted correctly on the ankle and only on healthy skin and with proper coverage of the wounds.| Mode of action | The combined effect of supportive knit, integrated silicone nubs on both sides and the new strap system stabilizes the ankle. The bandage alone produces a massaging effect which promotes blood circulation and, consequently, accelerates the reduction of swelling and effusions. The strap system contributes to the self-stabilization of the body and provides additional support similar to that of taping. The Levamed active bandage is therefore also suitable as a preventive protective bandage against sprains. This is especially true during sporting activities when the muscles get tired. The bandage develops its maximum effectiveness during sporting activities. In principle, the bandage can be worn throughout the day. But it's best to wear it according to your own intuition.
