DESCRIPTION Micropur prevents the growth of germs and the formation of odors in water tanks and pipes.| The effectiveness of Micropur is based on the bacteriostatic and bactericidal properties of silver. Unlike chlorine, which only remains effective for a few hours in water, silver ions can preserve water for up to 6 months. Silver ions are deposited on the cell walls of microorganisms and therefore prevent their multiplication. Micropur is ideal for saving water on boats, campers, caravans, but also for water treatment during hotel stays.| It can be used wherever water remains stagnant for a certain period in a closed system - in air conditioning and heating circuits, humidifiers, cisterns, water tanks, water baths, incubators etc.| Intended for clear, non-cloudy water; suspended solids can in fact limit the effectiveness of silver ions.
