Joy of Jean Patou It was created by the Nose Henri Almeras way back in 1929, packaged like a haute couture dress, always splendid, even today. It is as if it were the very concept of elegance embodied in a perfume.
One ounce of Joy is composed of 10,600 jasmine flowers and 28 dozen roses, so much so that the same Jean Patou he said 'it will be the most expensive perfume in the world!'.
The bouquet of Joy is the extraordinary dialectic between Bulgarian Rose and Grasse Jasmine, whose sophisticated dialogue is underlined by the presence of Ylang-Ylang and Tuberose.
Even the bottle cannot fail to convey extreme elegance, its sober lines were conceived by the architect Louis Sue who chose the gold leaf decoration (called baudruchage) and a frosted cap embellished with a very fine gold thread.
