The purpose of the subdiaphyseal bars is to comfortably extend the hammer or claw toes modo to avoid aggressive contact with the shoe. They thus limit pain and the formation of corns or calluses on the top of the finger and the tip. Wearing shoes when you have hammertoe or claw toe can be very painful. You can choose to keep your toes in this position while protecting them from contact with the shoe to avoid pain: in this case you will opt for an adjustable toe rest. The risk is that the toes end up fixed in this position and it will therefore be more difficult to straighten them. Another solution: Place a subdiaphyseal bar under your toes that will allow them to lengthen. This maintains some flexibility in the toes and avoids conflicts with the shoe. These EpitheliumTM bars are positioned under the toes: they allow them to stretch comfortably and thus limit the formation of pulp calluses (at the end of the toes) and dorsal calluses (on the top of the toes). Thanks to their shape they adapt perfectly to the space located under the toes. The soft elastic to pass around the 3rd finger provides good support to the clips. Their contact is very pleasant thanks to the chosen fabric (softness, breathability). Available in 2 sizes: male and female. The clips are machine washable at 40°C. Long duration of use: several months on average. Sold in pairs.
