Fragrance dedicated to the fruit brought to Europe through the sea routes of the Phoenician merchants. Depicted by artists such as Donatello, Leonardo and Brunelleschi. Symbol of vital energy, humility, charity, fertility, wealth and union, the image of the pomegranate often adorned the fine fabrics intended for court ceremonies.
Once used above all to decorate gardens and for domestic consumption, today it is increasingly widespread as a large-scale cultivation in Tuscany dove it is commonly called Melangrana.
