SecuTec Dorso® is a functional orthopedic corset for spinal support lumbar to the lower thoracic region.
It is indicated for conservative treatment following intervertebral disc prolapse or degenerative pathology.
Exercise one support and unloading function of the lower lumbar and thoracic vertebrae via the bars integrated into the anatomically designed corset. The functional orthosis SecuTec Dorso® can be put on and taken off without great effort even by older patients.

Immediately after the appearance of a herniated disc, but also in the presence of chronic conditions such as osteoporosis or in the case of a progressive weakening of the back muscles, the spine needs support. SecuTec Dorso wraps the entire back, carrying out an elongation action. In this modo unloads the lumbar spine by providing support to the lower part of the thoracic spine.
The individually adapted stays integrated along the entire surface of the torso intensify the stabilizing action performed by the robust knitted fabric. The force exerting the elongation action can be individually adjusted using two Velcro straps, in modo to be comfortable.
Get back in shape faster
At the beginning of the treatment an optional connecting frame, also shaped into modo customized, it carries out an unloading action at the level of the lumbar spine. At the same time you are protected from painful rotational movements. As you progress along the healing path, you can remove the connecting frame.
SecuTec Dorso can be worn effortlessly using a system of traction straps with practical Velcro closures. This allows even older patients to put on and take off the orthosis effortlessly and quickly modo correct. Thanks to the optimal shape and breathable knitted fabric, this orthosis ensures a complete and comfortable unloading action, allowing great safety in movement during everyday life. Product care instructions
Wash SecuTec Back at 30° by hand with a delicate detergent. To avoid damage to the fabric, it is recommended to close the Velcro fasteners. It is not necessary to remove the corset bars before washing. If necessary, fold the upper edges of the pockets in which the slats are inserted and proceed with removal. When reinserting the slats, make sure that they are well positioned inside the housing and that the upper edge is closed again.
