Protection for the healing ankle joint
Immediately following an injury or early after surgery, the ankle is in particular need of support. The bivalve rigid brace Airloc stabilizes the tibio-tarsal joint with two anatomical plastic shells. These shells are connected to each other by an elastic band placed under the heel and are fixed with Velcro straps to the lower leg. In this way, the orthosis adapts to the width of the heel and the degree of swelling.
On the inside there are air cushions that guarantee a perfect fit and high comfort. The pads can be inflated as needed using the pump provided in the product packaging.
Get back in shape faster
wearing Airloc in combination with a closed shoe, the tibio-tarsal joint is protected from new torsions thanks to the action of the plastic material splints. The air cushions apply gentle pressure to the tissue around the ankle joint. They also wrap the injured tibio-tarsal joint in a pleasant way, relieving pain and ensuring high comfort.
Thanks to the perfect positioning, Airloc ensures a high contact surface with a positive influence on sensory motor skills: this allows better control of the musculature, which allows the foot to stabilize using its own strength. Airloc gives the necessary security to move correctly and without fear despite the injury. This will allow you to start physiotherapy in a timely manner and return to your daily activities. For optimal healing, the fundamental rule always applies: movement is health.
