Sifi

SIFI — an acronym for Società Industria Farmaceutica Italiana — was founded in 1935 in Catania by two Sicilian pharmacists, Antonino Benanti and Carmelo Chines. Since its inception, the company has been exclusively dedicated to ophthalmology: a vertical specialization that has defined its identity for nearly ninety years. With its production base in Sicily and branches in Spain, France, Romania, Mexico, and Turkey, SIFI exports its products to over twenty countries. In 2025, it became part of the Spanish group Faes Farma, further consolidating its international projection in the eye care sector.
