Red sandalwood (Pterocarpus soyauxii) is a tree native to tropical Africa. The wood of this tree ranges in color from bright red to orange and is more durable and compact than that of white sandalwood. For this reason, it is commonly used in carpentry and cabinetmaking, as well as in the production of stringed instruments. Its use in decorative cosmetics, particularly for hair highlights, is primarily used to intensify cool red tones and polish them thanks to its astringent properties. Red sandalwood gives una light purple reflection, toning down the bright warm-copper tones. Modo Usage: Using this powder alone you get una Very light coverage, with barely visible pink-purple highlights. If used in combination with Lawsonia powder (red henna), or by adding hibiscus, madder, or alkanet, it helps achieve cool red tones even on gray hair. | It is not recommended to use pure red sandalwood powder alone, without adding other powders, also because this plant, being low in mucilage, results in an uneven mixture that is difficult to apply. It is therefore preferable to use it as a tone corrector rather than as a pure dye herb. | Shade: red | Product type: hair dye | Hair type: all | Brand: Phitofilos Features: unisex, vegan Certificates: Vegan OK PAO: 12 months | Ingredients (INCI): Pterocarpus Soyauxii Wood Powder
