Pure powder of dried and ground hibiscus flowers. Hibiscus (Hibiscus Sabdariffa), also known as carcade or Abyssinian pink tea, is una A large herbaceous plant belonging to the Malvaceae family. Native to the West Indies, it is also widespread in Asia (India, Sri Lanka) and Africa (Ethiopia, Sudan). Its characteristic active ingredients are: organic acids (hibiscus acid, citric acid, oxalic acid, tartaric acid, malic acid), anthocyanins, ascorbic acid, tannins, mucilage, phytosterols, and pigments (which give it its characteristic deep red/purple color). Hibiscus, whose Ayurvedic name is Jaswand, is traditionally used in cosmetic treatments to prevent hair loss and to keep hair soft and manageable, strong, and shiny. When used properly, it is also used for its excellent dyeing properties. Hibiscus offers a subtle purple hue on its own, but when combined with Lawsonia (or blends containing it), it is an excellent tone-enhancing agent. In fact, it is useful for achieving tones of cherry, mahogany, or cold browns. Modo Directions for use: The preparation is the classic one for dyeing herbal pastes. Mix very hot water and powders until the desired consistency is reached. una Cream applicable to hair. Since hibiscus powder alone has little hold on gray hair, providing only light, transparent purple highlights, it is usually used in synergy with other stronger, more covering herbal dyes, which it uses to build its strength and provide highlights. It is, in fact, mostly used in a mixture with lawsonia (red henna), indigofera (black henna), often with the addition of madder, logwood, walnut husk, or alkanet to obtain varied shades from pink to deep red, to auburn, plum, or aubergine brown. It all depends on the starting color, the powders used, and the percentage of gray hair present. The herbal line 100% pure was created to offer not only new products for hair care and well-being, but also to correct, strengthen, or tone down the harsh herbal powders of the Arte d'Erbe line. In fact, the "I Semplici" line combines herbs with a wide variety of properties. | Shade: red, purple Product type: hair dye Hair type: all Brand: Phitofilos Features: Ayurvedic, vegan Certificates: Vegan OK PAO: 12 months Storage instructions: Store in a cool, dry place away from light | Ingredients (INCI): Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower Powder
