Diptyque Geranium Odorata EDT - 100ml

diptyque Geranium Odorata EDT is a unisex floral eau de toilette. Geranium naturally reveals a bouquet of floral, rose-like notes with subtle hints of lemon. The originality of the Geranium Odorata fragrance lies in the combination of the flower and woods. Two varieties of geranium were used in the composition of this fragrance: Bourbon geranium, sourced from plantations on Reunion Island, and African geranium, sourced from Egypt. Geranium essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and stems before flowering. For Bourbon geranium, the essential oil yield is 1 kg per 600 kg of raw material: approximately 30 kg of essence is obtained per hectare and per year. In Reunion the plantations, which are located in particular in the west between 800 and 1000 metres above sea level, give three harvests a year, the best of which is obtained in the hot and rainy season, between January and March, followed by the cutting which takes place between June and October.
