ManuLoc long Plus is a long brace for the wrist, hand and fingers: it immobilises the entire hand up to the thumb (excluded), stabilises the forearm and prevents incorrect wrist movements. The removable finger support allows the fingers to be fixed in an extended or Intrinsic Plus position, thus avoiding damage caused by immobilisation. The orthosis is lightweight, breathable and easy to put on with una hand only.

In detail:
Following falls or sports injuries, work-related overload or surgery: sometimes it may essere necessary to rest the hand completely for a certain tempo. ManuLoc long Plus immobilises the entire hand from the carpal joint to the fingertips, leaving the thumb free. Its elongated struttura makes hand movements virtually impossible.
The wide finger support can essere shaped in modo customised way for different positions as needed, for example with the fingers fully extended or slightly bent. This support immobilises the fingers and is particularly suitable for night-time positioning. The finger support can essere removed to gradually increase mobility in modo.
The intermediate openings and ventilation holes allow una proper breathability of the skin and wounds. Una soft padding protects the delicate skin around the elbow. In addition, the ManuLoc long Plus orthosis can essere put on and taken off comfortably with una hand only. The practical stops prevent the straps from slipping out of their respective buckles.

Post-traumatic (multiple complex injuries in the hand/finger area)
Pre-operative and post-operative treatments, e.g. Dupuytren's disease, metacarpal fractures
