In 1905, Richardson formalized the business by establishing the Vick Family Remedies Company, which over time changed its name and structure until it was acquired in 1985 by Procter & Gamble, the multinational group that still holds the brand globally today. Over more than a century of history, Vicks has built its identity around a single mission: the well-being of the respiratory system. Its flagship product, the balsamic ointment recognizable by its characteristic texture and the scent of menthol and eucalyptus, remains the most immediate reference of the brand, available in over a hundred countries worldwide.
