Talika is a French cosmetic brand founded in Paris in 1948, when nurse Danielle Roches, working in the ophthalmology department of Parisian hospitals during World War II, formulated a plant-based balm to treat eye burns. The unexpected side effect — a marked stimulation of eyelash and eyebrow regrowth — became the starting point for an entire universe of care. In 1994, the brand was taken over by Alexis de Brosses, who modernized the formulas and initiated an international expansion that has led Talika to be distributed in over 60 countries today.
