Hummer was born as an American automotive brand in 1992, when AM General began the civilian marketing of a vehicle already known to the United States armed forces. The name became synonymous with extreme robustness, imposing dimensions, and an extraordinary presence. Acquired by General Motors in 1999, the brand ceased vehicle production in 2010. From that identity – powerful, masculine, adventure-oriented – a line of fragrances was developed under license from Elizabeth Arden, with the first launch dating back to 2004.
