D:SOL is a maison of artistic perfumery based in Berlin, founded in 2016 by Dennis K. Werner, a beauty and communication expert with over twenty years of experience in the industry. The name encapsulates a double root: the D for the founder and Sol, the sun in Spanish, a symbolic source of all inspiration. The collection carries the subtitle MMXVI — the Roman year of its birth — and arises from the creative tension between two opposing geographies: the sunny atmosphere of Mallorca and the contemporary urbanity of Berlin. Each fragrance is developed in Grasse, the world capital of perfumery, in collaboration with independent international noses, and takes shape in heavy glass bottles with artisanal finishes and bakelite caps produced in Spain. All compositions are unisex, vegan, and cruelty-free, free from parabens, phthalates, sulfates, and palm oil; each formula adheres to the Perfumery Code of Ethics promoted by Christophe Laudamiel.
