Aboca is an Italian company founded in 1978 by Valentino Mercati, whose name coincides with that of the Tuscan locality where it still has its headquarters today, on the hills at the border between Tuscany and Umbria. This is not a symbolic coincidence: as early as the 13th century, those lands were dedicated to the cultivation of medicinal plants. From that geographical and cultural root, Aboca has built a production model entirely based on natural ingredients, with a vertically integrated supply chain that starts from organic farming and reaches distribution, without resorting to artificial ingredients. The company is recognized as a Benefit Corporation and complements its production with scientific research activities, in collaboration with national and international universities and clinical centers, to deepen the understanding of plant-derived molecular complexes.
