Monoi, the fruit of macerating hand-picked Tiare flowers in coconut oil, is a traditional hydrating and soothing oil. In Tahitian, monoi means sacred oil and perfumed oil (Manogi in Paumotu, Pani in Marquise). It was long reserved for Aryans, or nobility.
