Cream of tartar is a leavening agent naturale, used as a substitute for baking powder for light and digestible preparations. Especially suitable in case of yeast intolerance or for the preparation of vegan and vegetarian desserts. It can also be used dissolved in water to obtain a thirst quenching drink.

Modo in use
As a yeast, simply replace the amount of yeast required for the preparation with half cream of tartar and half sodium or potassium bicarbonate. As a drink, dissolve a measuring cup in a cup of boiling water, letting it cool before drinking. Measuring cup included in the package. Close carefully after use.
