Hylo is the brand of eye drops and medical devices for the care of the ocular surface developed by URSAPHARM, a German pharmaceutical company founded in 1974 by four pharmacists from Saar with the aim of producing ophthalmic specialties in Germany. The name Hylo is inextricably linked to long-chain hyaluronic acid — the key ingredient of the range — and to the patented delivery system COMOD® (Continuous Monodose), introduced in 1993 and still distinctive of the entire line. This system delivers a calibrated drop with each press, maintains the sterility of the solution for six months after opening, and, without the need for preservatives or phosphates, is suitable even for the most sensitive eyes. Hylo eye drops are classified as medical devices with CE marking.
