Heel — a name that in Latin refers to the acronym Herba Est Ex Luce, meaning "the medicinal plant draws strength from the light of the sun" — is a German pharmaceutical company founded in Berlin in 1936, with its operational headquarters in Baden-Baden, Germany. Its founder, physician Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg, developed a clear vision from the very beginning: to build a bridge between homeopathic medicine and conventional medicine, creating preparations based on natural ingredients designed as full-fledged medicines. Today, Heel is present in over forty countries and is recognized for its production philosophy encapsulated in the motto Healthcare designed by nature.
